I-CORE Research:

Renewable Fuels Production

Study of the iron based catalyst for hydrogenation of CO2 into hydrocarbons fuels and the structure of its multifaceted phases at the atomic level using Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). In particular, the catalyst surface energy will be calculated from AFM force friction measurements using Jarzynski’s nonequilibrium work relation.
